Joan Cusack is an American actress. She received Academy Award nominations for Best Supporting Actress for her roles in the romantic comedy-drama Working Girl and the romantic comedy In & Out as well as one Golden Globe nomination for her performance in the latter. She has appeared in other films such as the romantic comedy-drama Broadcast News, the comedies Stars and Bars and Married to the Mob, the romantic comedy-drama Say Anything..., the dark comedy Addams Family Values, romantic comedy Nine Months, the mystery thriller film Arlington Road, the romantic comedy Runaway Bride, the music-themed comedy School of Rock, voicing in the computer-animated comedy adventure film Toy Story 2 and Toy Story 3. She is also the narrator of the children's television series Peep and the Big Wide World. Cusack was a cast member on the sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live from 1985 to 1986. Cusack currently stars on the Showtime hit drama/comedy Shameless as Sheila Jackson, a role for which she has received five consecutive Emmy Award nominations.
