Robert Glenn "Robbie" Lawler is an American professional mixed martial artist currently competing in the Welterweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, where he is the current UFC Welterweight Champion. A professional competitor since 2001, Lawler is also a former EliteXC Middleweight Champion, and has formerly competed in Strikeforce, PRIDE, and the IFL. As of December 10, 2014, Lawler has been the UFC Welterweight Champion and #8 pound-for-pound in official UFC rankings.
